  • Extending the School Day

    Hutchison offers after-school care and special interest offerings for our students. You can mix and match SPARK After-School Care and Center for Excellence programs throughout the year based on your daughter’s interests.
    During the school year, the Annette C. Smith Center for Excellence (CFE) features semester-long programs that are available one or two days per week. SPARK After-School Care operates every day afterschool. SPARK also offers special holiday camp care as well. CFE programming includes academics, athletics, and the arts.

SPARK After-School Care

After-School SPARK is a traditional after-school program that is available for girls in Little Hive through 8th grade every afternoon from school dismissal until 5:30 pm, as well as during planned school breaks. Students are provided with a snack and an assortment of age-appropriate activities each day. Registration is required for all after-school options.

  • Little Hive (2 Years Old) to Junior Kindergarten

    Age-appropriate activities include crafts, games, and outside play. Monthly 3-day or 5-day options are available.

  • Kindergarten to 4th Grade

    Age-appropriate activities include homework time, crafts, games, and outside play. Monthly 3-day or 5-day options are available.

  • 5th and 6th Grade

    Students are provided with a quiet environment for relaxing and studying after school. Monthly 3-day or 5-day options are available.

  • 7th and 8th Grade

    Students are provided with a quiet environment for relaxing and studying after school. Monthly 3-day or 5-day options are available.

    *Option for a supervised holding area before sports, theater, or CFE activities until 4:30 pm at no charge. Registration is required.

  • Holiday Care

    SPARK offers holiday care during most school breaks and holidays.

  • Fees

    Three-day option - $198/month*
    Five-day option-$249/month*
    Holiday and school break program $50/day.

The Center for Excellence

The Annette C. Smith Center for Excellence offers semester-long enrichment classes, workshops, private music lessons, and clinics catering to a broad variety of interests. These classes typically occur 1-2 days a week and can be mixed and matched with SPARK After-School Care to provide complete after-school care coverage for your daughter.

  • Robust Year-Round Program

    The Center for Excellence offers enrichment classes, workshops, private music lessons, and clinics year-round! Offerings include academics, arts, athletics, and leadership.

  • Offerings For Every Age

    The Center for Excellence offers classes for students in Pre-K through 12th grade.

  • Fees

    Center for Excellence fees are listed on each offering. Fees include all activities and supplies unless otherwise noted. Payments for Center for Excellence sessions are due in full at the time of registration.

    Payments can be made by VISA®, MasterCard®, American Express®, and Discover® 

    Cancellations and Refunds
    SPARK and Center for Excellence fees are refunded in full when the offering for which an enrollment was submitted is at capacity or the offering is canceled by Hutchison. 
     
    Except in the cases of illness or emergency that are disclosed to SPARK or the Center for Excellence office prior to the start of an activity, refunds will not be given after a session begins. A withdrawal request that occurs at least five (5) business days prior to the first class meeting will result in a refund/credit of fees. After five (5) days prior to the first class meeting, there will be no refund of fees.

You can mix and match our SPARK and CFE programs throughout the year, based on your daughter’s interests. Both programs expand her Hutchison experience of growing and exploring in a safe and healthy environment.
