    Ballet students will perform in the dance concert on Tuesday, April 4 at 6:00 pm and the school matinee on Wednesday, April 5.

Paint and plant a flower pot, make garden markers, build a recycled garden on our new and improved farm and greenhouse, and taste some of the yummy fruits of our labor in this action-packed class.

    The Quickstart Academy will use the teaching method of Quickstart tennis, a program aimed at helping kids in kindergarten, first, and second grade, learn the game of tennis. Using a smaller court, net, racquet, and larger foam tennis balls, the Quickstart method makes the game of tennis easily accessible to younger players.

The activities will promote understanding of important universal coding concepts that can be applied to different applications. This class will also give girls opportunities to tinker with Tinkercad developing 3-D print designs. Girls can 3-D print bag tags, game pieces, and more. Join the fun of computer science!

    The Quickstart Academy will use the teaching method of Quickstart tennis, a program aimed at helping kids in kindergarten, first, and second grade, learn the game of tennis. Leotard or form fitting top with black leggings or form fitting yoga pants, ballet skirt, with pink or skin-toned ballet shoes.

    For girls and boys in grades 3-12

    instructor: Amanda Killen (DI TN Board Member & team manager) & Various Team Managers
    cost: $300, plus tournament travel expenses
    Build your creativity, design thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills on grade level teams. Teams solve one of six open-ended, STEAM-based challenges to present at tournaments. Teams will meet two afternoons per week and/or on Saturday mornings. Teams will present challenge solutions at the regional and state levels and commit to attending Global Finals if they advance from the state tournament.
