  • Gymnastics with Gymstars

    For girls in grades K-3

  • NEW! Food Science 4 Kids

    for girls in grades 3-6
    date/time: Wednesdays, January 25-April 5 (no class 3/15); 3:30-4:15 PM
    instructor: Ali Manning (food scientist)
    cost: $250, supplies included
    Students will learn food science through experimentation. Explore agriculture, sensory evaluation, the science of cooking, and more!
  • Artist Studio

    For girls and boys in 3-4 grade

    date/time: Mondays, 3:15-4:15 pm
    instructor: Martha Berge (lower school art teacher)
    cost: $200 per session, includes all supplies

    Learn drawing and painting techniques, create multi-media art, sculpture, and collage.
  • Ballet 3

    For girls and boys in grade 3
    School-year length course

    Students in Ballet 3 continue to gain strength, agility, grace, and comradery in their dance and dance-making.  Plain pink or black leotard with or without a skirt, pink or skin-toned ballet tights or black leggings, and pink or skin-toned ballet shoes are required.

    Ballet students will perform in the dance concert on Tuesday, April 4 at 6:00 pm and the school matinee on Wednesday, April 5.
  • Bee Sharp: Lower School Choir

    For Hutchison girls in grades K–4

    Enhance your vocal skills and perform at various school and community events. Music Concert dates are December 1, 2022 at 6:00 pm and April 13, 2022 at 6:00 pm. Rehearsal times will be announced closer to the concert date.
  • Creativity Toolbox

    For girls in grades 3-4

    date/time: Tuesday, 3:30-4:15 pm; January 24-April 11 (no class 2/14, 3/14)
    instructor: Reem Rassoul (early childhood teacher)
    cost:  $200
    Girls will explore their imaginations and learn tools to focus creativity with the creative process in this fun, project-based class.
  • Destination Imagination (DI)

    For girls and boys in grades 3-12
    date/time: September - May as scheduled, Tournament dates TBD
    instructor: Amanda Killen (DI TN Board Member & team manager) & Various Team Managers
    cost: $300, plus tournament travel expenses
    Build your creativity, design thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills on grade level teams. Teams solve one of six open-ended, STEAM-based challenges to present at tournaments. Teams will meet two afternoons per week and/or on Saturday mornings. Teams will present challenge solutions at the regional and state levels and commit to attending Global Finals if they advance from the state tournament.     For Hutchison girls in grades K-4
    Hutchison offers an intramural program for Hutchison girls in basketball (K-4), soccer (K-3), lacrosse (3-4) and volleyball (1-3) to provide our girls with opportunities to explore athletics. The main goal of our intramural league is to promote growth and enhance skill development. Because of our commitment to foster growth throughout the program, girls are invited to participate regardless of skill level or experience.

  • NEW! How To Be Lovely: Etiquette Class

    For 3-4 grade girls

    Young ladies will learn to navigate society with grace, poise, and style in this unique class offering. How to be Lovely Etiquette is an all encompassing curriculum for the modern girl with a focus on elegant deportment and gracious traditions.
  • Pottery

    For girls and boys in grades 2-4 and 5-12

    Develop creative concepts in clay. Learn the techniques of throwing on the wheel, hand building, and combining altered forms.

    For girls and boys in grades K-12

    Private lessons for 30 or 45 minutes in one or more instruments offered. All skill levels. 

    An email will go out to everyone once school starts with more information, as well as, dates and times available for lessons.

    Craft works of art that are beautiful and practical. Hand-build projects from clay or mosaics. Fast-paced and fun, these sessions can be taken as a whole or individually.
  • Taekwondo

    For girls and boys in grades K-6
    School year-length course

     Grades 3-6 // 3:45-4:30 pm
    instructor: Midtown Taekwondo
    cost: $400
    Involve yourself in martial arts to learn discipline and skills that will help you in school and beyond. In the final class, students will test for stripes and belts. No uniform is required; however, you may wear your own uniform or purchase one through Midtown Taekwondo.
  • Time to Tinker and Code

    For girls in grades 1-4

    Spend some time with Mrs. Stover and Ms. Wesson expanding your computer science skills. Girls will gain more experience coding with unplugged and plugged activities. The activities will promote understanding of important universal coding concepts that can be applied to different applications. This class will also give girls opportunities to tinker with Tinkercad developing 3-D print designs. Girls can 3-D print bag tags, game pieces, and more. Join the fun of computer science!
