  • ART-Rageous!

    For girls and boys in grades K-2

    Explore all the basics of drawing, painting, sculpting, experimenting, and more. Your artist portfolio and pride will be bursting at the seams! Space is limited.
  • Bee Sharp: Lower School Choir

    For Hutchison girls in grades K–4

    date/time: Tuesdays, 3:30-4:15 pm

    cost: $175 per semester

    Enhance your vocal skills and perform at various school and community events. Music Concert dates are December 1, 2022 at 6:00 pm and April 13, 2022 at 6:00 pm. Rehearsal times will be announced closer to the concert date.

  • Creative Ballet K-1

    For girls in grades K-1
    School-year length course

    September 12-November 28 (no class 10/3, 10/31) & January 9-April 5 (no class 1/16, 2/20, 3/13, 4/10)
    instructors: Louisa Koeppel (Hutchison dance teacher) & Katy Stanfield (dancer and dance instructor)
    cost: $400
    Ballet K-1 will reinforce and expand the ballet experience through classical technique, creativity, and dance-making. Plain pink or black leotard with or without skirt, pink or skin-toned ballet tights or black leggings, and pink or skin-toned ballet shoes are required.

    Ballet students will perform in the dance concert on Tuesday, April 4 at 6:00 pm and the school matinee on Wednesday, April 5.
  • Group Strings

    Outstanding group classes inspire and encourage both experienced and beginning string players.

    If you do not own a violin then you will need to rent one from Lane Music, Amro Music, or Circle Music.
  • How Does Your Garden Grow?

    For girls in grades K-2

    Spend time outside learning the basics of vegetables, fruit, and flower gardening. What zone do we live in? Where should we plant? How much do we water? Paint and plant a flower pot, make garden markers, build a recycled garden on our new and improved farm and greenhouse, and taste some of the yummy fruits of our labor in this action-packed class.

    For Hutchison girls in grades K-4
    Hutchison offers an intramural program for Hutchison girls in basketball (K-4), soccer (K-3), lacrosse (3-4) and volleyball (1-3) to provide our girls with opportunities to explore athletics. The main goal of our intramural league is to promote growth and enhance skill development. Because of our commitment to foster growth throughout the program, girls are invited to participate regardless of skill level or experience.

  • NEW! Fairy Tale Theater

    For girls entering grades K-2
    date/time: Wednesdays, January 25-April 12 (no class 2/1, 3/15); 2:30-3:15 PM
    instructor: Miss. Emily Cantrell (Bloom Studios)
    cost: $200
    Explore acting techniques and musical theater skills through the lens of beloved fairytales. Students will learn about costume design, develop stage presence and self confidence, and get a chance to perform their masterpiece.
  • Private Music Lessons

    For girls and boys in grades K-12

    Private lessons for 30 or 45 minutes in one or more instruments offered. All skill levels. 

    An email will go out to everyone once school starts with more information, as well as, dates and times available for lessons.

    Space is limited.
  • Quickstart Tennis

    For girls in K-2

    The Quickstart Academy will use the teaching method of Quickstart tennis, a program aimed at helping kids in kindergarten, first, and second grade, learn the game of tennis. Using a smaller court, net, racquet, and larger foam tennis balls, the Quickstart method makes the game of tennis easily accessible to younger players.

    **Each student will need to bring their own tennis racquet for this class. 
  • Ready, Set, Create!

    For girls in grades K-2

    Explore your imagination and learn tools to focus creativity with the creative process in this fun, project-based class.
     
  • Taekwondo

    For girls and boys in grades K-6
    School year-length course

     Grades K-2 // 3:15-3:45 pm
     Grades 3-6 // 3:45-4:30 pm
    instructor: Midtown Taekwondo
    cost: $400
    Involve yourself in martial arts to learn discipline and skills that will help you in school and beyond. In the final class, students will test for stripes and belts. No uniform is required; however, you may wear your own uniform or purchase one through Midtown Taekwondo.
