In this art class, young creative minds embark on an exciting journey of self-expression and exploration through various art mediums. Students engage in hands-on activities that include painting, drawing, collage-making, and sculpting, utilizing different materials like crayons, watercolors, Model Magic, and recycled items. The class encourages students to express their imagination while developing fine motor skills, color recognition, and teamwork. With a focus on fun and discovery, each class is designed to inspire creativity and instill a love for arts in a nurturing environment.

Junior Kindergarten students will discover how exciting science can be through hands-on, age-appropriate experiments and playful exploration. Each week, young scientists will mix, observe, predict, and create as they investigate colorful chemical reactions, fizzy concoctions, bubbles, simple engineering challenges, and other fun STEM activities. This class encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking while helping children build confidence in asking questions and making discoveries.

Girls concept and design real characters, create a plot to solve a problem (or “save the day”), write the full storyline, and finally, edit and publish. They will learn the ins and outs of how book publishing works and the importance of teamwork and telling stories through their shared voices. The finished product will be “one” comic book designed together, and will each receive a professionally printed copy!
Cross Country League

For Hutchison girls in grades 3-4
Dates/Time:
Mondays: August Aug 17, 24, and 31 — on these three Mondays, practices will run from 3:30–4:30 PM; other Mondays are reserved for meets only.
Tuesdays: August 18, 25, and September 1 — 3:30–4:30 PM
Thursdays: August 20 through October 1 — weekly 3:30–4:30 PM
Meets at Shelby Farms: 9/8, 9/14, 9/21, 9/28; 4:30-6:00 PM

Whether your daughter is picking up a lacrosse stick for the first time or already has experience with the game, this camp is the perfect place to learn, grow, and have fun! Through engaging drills, skill-building activities, and exciting small-sided games, campers will develop confidence while learning the fundamentals of passing, catching, cradling, shooting, and teamwork.
Our goal is to inspire a lifelong love of lacrosse by creating a positive, supportive environment where every player feels welcomed, encouraged, and empowered to succeed. No prior lacrosse experience is required—all skill levels are welcome!
Throughout the week, campers will work toward the exciting Bumble Bowl, a fun-filled event where they can showcase their newly developed skills, teamwork, and confidence in a spirited celebration of all they've accomplished.
