  • ACT Prep Session I

    For girls and boys in grades 11-12
    Date/Time: Monday-Friday, August 25-29; 3:40-5:40 pm
    Instructor: ACT Prep Instructor
    Cost: Math/English/Reading M-TH: $400
    Optional Add-on of Science on Friday
    Full Week/All Subjects: $475
    This class takes a deep dive into what it takes to succeed on the ACT. Participants will examine the tendencies of the ACT and learn general and content-specific strategies. Students will also gain valuable experience by working through problems from actual ACT tests.

  • Ballet 3

    For girls in grade 3
    Date/Time: Tuesdays and Thursdays, September 9-December 4 (no class 10/7, 10/9, 10/30, or 11/25) from 3:00-4:00 PM
    • Rehearsals: December 9, 3:00-5:15 PM & December 10, 2:15-4:30 PM
    • The Nutcracker Performance: December 11
    Instructor: Louisa Koeppel (Hutchison dance teacher)
    Cost: $600
    Students in Ballet 3 continue to gain strength, agility, grace, and camaraderie in their dance and dance-making. Plain pink or black leotard with or without a skirt, pink or skin-toned ballet tights or black leggings, and pink or skin-toned ballet shoes are required.

    The fall session of Ballet will conclude with a performance of The Nutcracker on Thursday, December 11, and rehearsals will tentatively be on Tuesday, December 9, and Wednesday, December 10, for 3rd-grade dancers.

    Cost: $600

  • Bee Notes Choir

    For Hutchison girls in grades K-1
    Dates/Time: Thursdays, September 4-November 20 (no class 10/9, or 10/30) from 3:15-4:00 PM
    Rehearsal: December 3
    Performance: Choral Concert on December 4
    Instructor: Heather Short (EC and LS music teacher)  
    Cost: $235
    Learn vocal techniques for performances. This class gives students a strong foundation for the proper use of their vocal talent and the basics of choral singing. 

    *Bee Notes will perform at the Hutchison Choral Concert on December 4 at 6:00 pm. Rehearsals will be announced closer to the concert date. 
  • Board Games and Besties

    For girls in grades 3-6
    Date/Time: Thursdays, September 4-November 20 (no class 10/9, or 10/30) from 3:15-4:00 PM

  • Cheer and Tumbling

    For Hutchison girls in JK
    Date/Time: Thursdays, September 4-November 20 (no class 10/9, or 10/30) from 2:30-3:10 pm
    Instructor: Morgan Lincoln (DC Dragons Cheer Coaches)
    Cost: $220
    Cheer and Tumbling class is designed to introduce young children to the fundamentals of cheerleading and basic gymnastics in a fun and engaging environment. In this class, JK girls will learn essential skills such as coordination, balance, and strength through age-appropriate tumbling exercises, jumping techniques, and cheer routines. With a focus on teamwork, creativity, and self-confidence, the program encourages social interaction and helps develop listening skills while fostering a love for movement and fitness.
  • Cheerleading

    For girls in grades K-1

  • Crafty Creators

    For Hutchison girls in PK

    Every child needs a creative outlet!
    Crafting allows creative interests to blossom using different materials, colors, tools, and mediums. Weekly crafts are age appropriate with guided instruction and assistance.
  • Crochet

    For girls in grades 3-6
    Date/Time: Thursdays, August 21, 28, and September 4 from 3:15-4:15 pm

  • Cross Country League

    For Hutchison girls in grades 3-4
    Dates/Time: Mondays: August 18 & 25 — on these two Mondays, practices will run from 3:30–4:30 PM; other Mondays are reserved for meets only.
    Tuesdays: August 19, 26 & September 2 — 3:30–4:30 PM
    Thursdays: August 21 through October 2 — weekly 3:30–4:30 PM
    Meets at Shelby Farms: 9/8, 9/15, 9/22, 9/29; 4:30-6:00 PM
    Regionals: Saturday, October 11, time TBD

    *REGISTRATION DEADLINE: AUGUST 18
    This league runs through Memphis Youth Athletics and meets are at Shelby Farms Park on Mondays. Parents and spectators can purchase premium parking passes for the season (excluding the  Frank Horton Classic and non-MYA regional & TSSAA State Meet) for $30 starting August 1st. After August 31st, the price will increase to $40. There are 75 passes per division available.
  • Holiday Crafting JK

    For girls in JK
    Date/Time: Thursday, December 11 from 2:30-3:15 PM
    Instructor: Anne Sawyer (crafting enthusiast)
    Cost: $40
    Students will use their creativity to make ornaments and decorate their own tree! Imaginations will run free while making decorations with a variety of different materials that show each student's unique personality.
  • Lacrosse Free Clinic

  • Project Pottery: Gingerbread Houses

    For girls in grades 2-4
    Date/Time: Tuesdays and Thursdays, December 2, 4, 9, and 11 from 3:15-4:30 pm

    Craft works of art that are beautiful and practical. Hand-build projects from clay or mosaics.
  • Tech Explorers (Formerly Time to Tinker and Code)

    For girls in grades 1-4
    Dates/Time: Thursdays, September 4-November 20 (no class 10/9, or 10/30) from 3:15-4:00 PM
    Instructors: Jennifer Stover (lower school technology integrationist)
    Cost: $225
    This hands-on class is designed for students who are eager to explore the realms of coding, 3D printing, LEGO robotics, and more. By fostering creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration through engaging projects and challenges, students will develop essential skills that prepare them for the future of innovation.
