Classes for 9th Graders

  • Painting with Jeanette Leake

    For 9th grade-Adult
    Date/Time: Wednesdays, September 11-November 20 (no class on 10/9 or 10/16) from 3:45-5:00 PM
    Instructor: Jeanette Leake 
    Cost: $400
    *Students will be required to bring supplies from the list found in their logistics email.
    This class will teach basic painting techniques including how to use materials, color theory, creating form and texture in paint, and composition. Once you have registered, we will send out a list of supplies required for the class.

  • Pottery

    For girls in grades 2-4 and 5-12
    Date/Time: Wednesdays, September 25-November 20 (no class 10/9)
      Grades 2-4 // 2:00-3:15 pm
      Grades 5-12 // 3:15-4:20 pm
    Instructors: Kristi Duckworth (ceramist & painter)
    Cost: $280
    Develop creative concepts in clay. Learn the techniques of throwing on the wheel, hand building, and combining altered forms.

  • Private Music Lessons

    For girls and boys in grades K-12
    Private lessons for 30 or 45 minutes in piano, violin, viola, voice, or harp are offered—all skill levels.
    *You must have access to the instrument you are taking lessons for to practice outside of your lesson. 
    Students who took lessons last spring have priority for the fall semester.
    Space is limited.
