ACT Prep
For girls and boys in grades 10-12; 10th-grade students MUST have completed Algebra II.

This class takes a deep dive into what it takes to succeed on the ACT. Participants will examine the tendencies of the ACT and learn general and content-specific strategies. Students will also gain valuable experience by working through problems from actual ACT tests.

Art-Rageous
For girls in grades K-1

Hutchison Swim Team
For Hutchison girls in grades 3-5
Date/Time:
Practices Mondays and Wednesdays January 8 - February 29 (no practice 1/15, 2/19) from 5:30-6:30 at the Nuber YMCA
Meets: Thursday, January 25 and February 29
Coaches: Cheryl Parker and Katie Sentilles (MS and US Swim Coaches)
Cost: $425*
*-Swimmers will need to purchase swimsuits from the options sent by the coaches. Once purchased please deliver to the CFE office in the Abston Early Childhood building by December 8th so that we can have the Hutchison logo added before the first practice.
Swimmers will practice twice weekly at the Ric Nuber YMCA and participate in two swim meets. Makeup days will be on Thursdays as needed. Swimmers must be “deep water safe” and be able to get across one length of the pool in any way. They will play fun games, and learn the four competitive swim team strokes, practice relays, starts, and turns!

Private Music Lessons
For girls and boys in grades K-12
Private lessons for 30 or 45 minutes in piano, violin, viola, voice, or harp are offered. All skill levels.
*You must have access to the instrument you are taking lessons for in order to practice outside of your lesson.
Students who are currently taking lessons have first priority for the spring semester.
Space is limited.

Quickstart Tennis
For girls in grades K-2

The Quickstart Academy will use the teaching method of Quickstart tennis, a program aimed at helping kids in kindergarten, first, and second grade, learn the game of tennis. Using a smaller court, net, racquet, and larger foam tennis balls, the Quickstart method makes the game of tennis easily accessible to younger players.
**Each student will need to bring their own tennis racquet for this class.
