For girls and boys in grades 11-12

Advanced Pottery
For girls in grades 5-12
Date/Time: Wednesdays, September 10-November 19 (no class 10/8) from 3:20-4:30 PM

Develop creative concepts in clay. Learn the techniques of throwing on the wheel, hand building, and combining altered forms.

Hutchison Lower School cheerleading combines elements of dance, gymnastics, and stunts. Coaches focus on teamwork, coordination, and spirit, helping build confidence and develop athletic skills.

Crafty Creators
For girls in JK

Every child needs a creative outlet!
Crafting allows creative interests to blossom using different materials, colors, tools, and mediums. Weekly crafts are age appropriate with guided instruction and assistance.

Cross Country League
For Hutchison girls in grades 3-4
Dates/Time: Mondays: August 18 & 25 — on these two Mondays, practices will run from 3:30–4:30 PM; other Mondays are reserved for meets only.
Tuesdays: August 19, 26 & September 2 — 3:30–4:30 PM
Thursdays: August 21 through October 2 — weekly 3:30–4:30 PM
Meets at Shelby Farms: 9/8, 9/15, 9/22, 9/29; 4:30-6:00 PM

This league runs through Memphis Youth Athletics and meets are at Shelby Farms Park on Mondays. Parents and spectators can purchase premium parking passes for the season (excluding the Frank Horton Classic and non-MYA regional & TSSAA State Meet) for $30 starting August 1st. After August 31st, the price will increase to $40. There are 75 passes per division available.

Quickstart Tennis
For girls in K-2

The Quickstart Academy will use the teaching method of Quickstart tennis, a program aimed at helping kids in kindergarten, first, and second grade, learn the game of tennis. Using a smaller court, net, racquet, and larger foam tennis balls, the Quickstart method makes the game of tennis easily accessible to younger players.
**Each student will need to bring their own tennis racquet for this class.
